• The Sundog Connector: A proposed road project, the "Sundog Connector," aims to link Prescott Lakes Parkway to Highway 69, potentially running near or through parts of the easement bordering Yavapai Hills. This is a contentious local issue. Proponents cite traffic relief; opponents in Yavapai Hills fear increased noise and visual disruption. Buyers should research the current status of this project with the City of Prescott and CYMPO (Central Yavapai Metropolitan Planning Organization).
